Umbro have been making subtle yet striking moves where kits are concerned as we approach the 18/19 season. Tailored with fine lines, West Ham and Umbro have paired up to launch the clubs third kit for the forthcoming campaign that drops in, inspired by the energy of '92/93.
Design inspiration for this shirt has been taken from the Club’s first-ever Third kit, which was worn by Billy Bonds’ 1992/93 promotion-winning side. It's with a minimalist finish that both club and brand have paid homage to Bonds’ record-breakers, as a squad starring the likes of Trevor Morley, Clive Allen, Ian Bishop, Alvin Martin and Julian Dicks who amassed a historic 88 points to reach the Premier League for the first time in West Ham history.
The punching shirt drops in a light grey tone and is complimented with diagonal claret and blue graphics across both shoulders and a matching crest featuring sky blue piping and claret crossed hammers and wording. Completing the ensemble the light grey shorts feature the same claret and blue graphic detail while the socks seal the selection as they land in sky blue.
The West Ham Utd Third Kit by Umbro is on sale now.
