Following in the footsteps of their MLS rivals, Sporting Kansas City gear up for the new season by launching their new 2019 primary jersey, which takes Sporting KC’s customary colours and combines them with the “Raw Grey” tonal accent colour of the kit’s diagonal stripes.
The new kit was launched at a Season Kickoff and Kit Launch Party that was hosted at the historic Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, Missouri. It features a "Sporting Blue" background with a "Dark Indigo" collar, numbering, Ivy Investments sponsor, and the adidas Three Stripes running down the sides. Grey shorts and Sporting Blue socks with SKC initials round out the full, on-pitch look.
Sporting Kansas look well set for a busy 2019 season that will see the club juggle the Concacaf Champions League with its pursuit of the Supporters' Shield, MLS Cup and U.S. Open Cup. Along with their new Primary kit, the club will continue to wear the same black and metallic silver secondary jersey that was introduced last year.
