Taking inspiration from aerial shots of the Estadio Monumental on Copa Libertadores nights, adidas have launched the 2019 third shirt for reigning Copa Libertadores champions Club Atlético River Plate.
River Plate will wear their new third kit during the 2018/19 Copa Argentina and the 2019 Copa Libertadores. The design of the shirt is red and black, with a sublimated design that takes inspiration from an aerial view of the Estadio Monumental. The back of the shirt is completely black while the Three Stripes sit in red on the shoulders.
The third shirt joins the home and away kits in River’s repertoire of adidas armoury, as the Argentinian club prepare to defend their Copa Libertadores crown in 2019 following one of the most hotly contested finals in recent history against bitter rivals Boca Juniors.
