Looking to help the French Ligue 1 side build on what has been a reasonably successful season, adidas launch the Lyon 2019/20 home and away shirts, providing strong looks when the side play at the Lyon Olympic Stadium or on the road.
Incorporating the Tricolore look that's synonymous with the club across both the home and away shirts, adidas have unveiled Olympique Lyonnais’ look for next season. At first glance the home shirt seems like a fairly straightforward affair, utilising a white base and accentuating it with blue and red pops along with silver Three Stripes on the shoulder for a nice additional flourish. But look closer and there’s some finer detail incorporated in the design.
The lower portion of the home shirt features the embossed lion that appears in Lyon’s logo and city crest, lending the shirt an added touch of class. Expect to see Memphis, Fekir and teammates debuting the home kit in their final home game of the season against Caen this weekend.
The away shirt takes a base blue look for its core but introduces a darker shade on the sleeves that travels across the body in gradient stripes. Red and white trim finish the strong look off, ensuring Lyon will look smart on the road. It will likely be worn in Lyon's final game of the season against Nimes on 24 May.
