Already looking ahead to next season, New Balance have launched the new 2019/20 Celtic home shirt. It comes under the new campaign title of ‘On To Victory’, which is inspired by the famous Celtic song, ‘Celtic, Celtic, that’s the team for me’.
The Celtic 2019/20 home shirt features a fairly traditional look, as you’d expect, with no radical departures from the norm. The shirt’s iconic green and white hoops make up the body of the shirt, wrapping around the underside of the arms, but stopping short of the shoulders, following a similar template to the recently released Liverpool 2019/20 home shirt. The polo-style collar is the main differential here though, inspired by the Bhoys’ first ever strip back in 1888.
The kit was unveiled at a special launch event hosted at the Argyle Street Arches venue in Glasgow, and it's due for release on May 24. Celtic FC captain Scott Brown, said: “The new jersey is a great, classic design with a special reference to the Club’s history. I’ll be wearing it with pride next season, as will the rest of the Bhoys.”
