Continuing the ‘Dragons Together’ campaign, New Balance FC Porto’s new 2019/20 season third kit, which features an abstract blue atoll toned central graphic inspired by the mythical dragon, a symbol of the Club and its powerful identity.
New Balance launched the FC Porto 19/20 home shirt under the ‘Dragons Together’ campaign recently, which connects FC Porto fans around the world with the Portuguese giants, and that’s now followed up by this third kit. An 'estate blue' base is embellished with the sublimated turquoise graphic that runs through the centre of the shirt, giving it a physical link to the ‘Dragons Together’ campaign.
General Manager of New Balance Football, Kenny McCallum said, “When we set out to create the 19/20 third kit, it was really important for us to deliver a style we felt the fans could instantly connect with. Celebrating the Dragon has resulted in a visually stunning jersey.”
The shirt will be worn for Porto's Champions League campaign after the club finished second to Benfica in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season. FC Porto academy graduate, Diogo Leite said: “It means so much to wear the FC Porto badge on my chest, the design is fantastic." The unique and detailed club crest that he's talking about takes pride of place on the left chest, while 'FC Porto' is written on the upper back in turquoise. Strong shapes for the season to come.
