Huddersfield Town have a new sponsor for the 2019/20 season. We’re leading with that just incase you miss it from the new Umbro home kit that’s been launched, which sees a subtle, sash style sponsor slot for the betting company, Paddy Power. Wind up? We’ll see…
The classic blue and white stripes of the Huddersfield Town home shirt remain for the 2019/20 season, but they’re joined by a new sponsor in Paddy Power, boldly emblazoned right across the front of the shirt in the familiar green font. As a result of the new sponsor positioning, the club crest has had to make way from it’s regular positioning on the left of the chest to take up a central position.
“We’ve gone for a really modern twist on how we feature the famous Paddy Power logo,” explained Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis. “Paddy Power is a very forward-thinking, innovative company – that’s one of the main reasons that we’re so excited to work with them – the new ‘sash’ style logo is really eye-catching and helps maintain our reputation as being innovators too.”
Good old Paddy Power...
Guess we’ll find out if it’s genuine by this evening, with Jan Siewert’s side set to wear it in their pre-season match at Rochdale before it goes on sale at htafcmegastore.com
