AS Monaco have been blessed by more of Kappa's finest work as the brand launch the new 2019/20 away shirt for the Monegasques, which features a black diamond pattern, reminiscent of the coat of arms of the Principality, while it’s further embellished by some majestic gold detailing.
Ahead of friendly fixtures against Braga and Porto, Kappa unveil the Monaco 2019/20 away shirt with a video that was shot in three well-known places in the principality: the prestigious Monte-Carlo Casino; on the site of the head of Dog with its impregnable view on Monaco; and on board the famous Tuiga, the flagship of the Monaco Yacht Club. To be fair, they could have shot it in an ASDA car park in Blackburn and it still would have looked nothing short of spectacular.
The shirt itself features a sublimated diamond pattern, reminiscent of the coat of arms of the Principality, that runs through the core black body. It’s a design that has already featured on the 19/20 home shirt. Gold is then used for the the 3D silicone club emblem, the ‘FEDCOM’ sponsor, and the Kappa logo, which takes its place not only on the chest, but also running down the sides of the shirt, and we absolutely love that. On the rear, the “Daghe Munegu” chant has just been affixed to the collar.
