Either Kappa didn’t realise that the Championship party started over three months ago or they just don’t care, because the Italian brand have only now decided to launch the Leeds United 2019/20 third shirt. Fashionably late or just poor time keeping? That’s for you to decide…
The Leeds 2019/20 third shirt follows the club’s recently released centenary jersey – which sold out almost instantly – as Kappa continue to help the club celebrate in style. The third shirt features the same crest as the away and centenary shirts, which only differs from the home shirt in the colourings used. The sky blue base is joined by white trim on the sleeves and through the sponsor and branding details, while a dotted stripe of white, yellow and blue around the waistband ties it nicely to the traditional look of the club.
The kit is completed by sky blue shorts and socks, with the same white, yellow and blue detailing from the waistband of the shirt also featuring on the top of the socks. Leeds are expected to wear the kit when they play in the third kit for the first time in Saturday’s Yorkshire derby against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, subject to approval from match officials.
The Leeds United 2019/20 Third Shirt is available from the club's online store.
