As the NFL arrives back in London, Nike have unveiled the new Tottenham Hotspur American Football Collection with a little help from Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver Odell Beckham Jr, who toured London's new premier NFL venue earlier this month.
The collection has been launched to coincide with the first ever NFL game at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the first purpose-built NFL venue outside of the United States. The new collection is headlined by the Spurs x NFL jersey and has been fused with the aesthetic of American Football, drawing print inspiration from the Tottenham Hotspur 2019/20 away kit.
That jersey, which features the number 82 and 'SPURS' on the rear is complemented by a smart bomber jacket which features the club logo and Nike branding. This isn't the first time Spurs have dabbled with the NFL scene, in November last year Nike launched NFL jerseys for Spurs and their London counterparts Chelsea with Kane and Hazard on the back.
Tottenham's new stadium has taken the London NFL baton off Wembley and the capital's state-of-the-art venue will host Chicago Bears v Oakland Raiders on Sunday 6 October followed by Carolina Panthers v Tampa Bay a week later.
