New Balance have unveiled the Republic of Ireland home kit for 2019/20 ahead of the Boys in Green setting their sights on clinching automatic qualification for next summer’s European 2020 tournament.
Ireland currently sit top of their qualifying group and can secure their ticket to the big dance next summer by beating Denmark at the Aviva Stadium on November 18. Anything less than three points will likely see the Irish take their chances in the play off as Denmark and Switzerland both have a game in hand on them. The atmosphere will be electric and the team will be wearing the new jersey for the first time as they look to make it their official EURO 2020 home shirt.
The jersey is designed in Eden Green with tonal pin stripes. It also features Eden Green detailing around the collar and sleeves, whilst a Gold border frames the Ireland crest on the chest. Matching Eden Green shorts andsocks, inscribed with the word Éire, complete the kit. The goalkeeper strip arrives in Sparkling Grape colourway with detailing in a Bleached Lime Glo shade.
The full range of New Balance Ireland home kit products will be available on November 8.
