Kappa Present The 2019/20 Real Betis Lookbook

Continuing their strong influence on the shirt scene and rounding off a triple treat for this season, Kappa present a Real Betis 2019/20 lookbook, capturing the La Liga side’s three bold and unique shirts in and around their natural surroundings of Seville.

The 2019/20 season has definitely seen an increased quality in the shirt scene, with some stunning designs serving to make the transition between performance and lifestyle all the more smooth as jersey culture enjoys something of a renaissance. Nowhere is this better exemplified than with Kappa, whose recent impact has been forcing those around to up their own games just to keep pace.

It could be said that Kappa have been going about their business quietly, and that would’ve been correct until recently. But now the Italian brand have decided to rightly place modesty to one side as they showcase to the world just how good their work is, presenting stunning lookbooks for both Monaco and Aston Villa. And with those releases safely in the bank, focus turns to La Liga side Real Betis, as Kappa complete the treble with yet another trio of treats.

Kappa provided Betis with three starkly different designs for the 2019/20 season and they have been shot in and around Betis’ home, the Estadio Benito Villamarín. As with the Monaco kits, the ‘Kappa Banda’ – the ultimate sign of Kappa quality – travels down the sides of all three kits, but that’s as far as the similarities go. The home shirt tweaks the traditional green and white, the away shirt the combines the green of the Verderones with black, while the third shirt – hands down the ballsiest of the three – combines the green with pink. Shouldn't work on paper, but in reality, thanks in part to a very dark shade of green, it does.

The lookbook serves as evidence of just how seamlessly these shirts can switch from pitch to pavement – a testament to the quality of design work from Kappa.
