Looking ahead to next season, Kappa have unveiled the Angers SCO 20/21 home and away shirts, and it sees a classic design for the former joined by more of a flourish on the latter.
For the 20/21 season, Kappa have produced a fairly traditional take on the Angers SCO home shirt, embellishing the classic black and white stripes with accents of gold that pop on the collar, sleeves and Kappa branding. Four black stripes feature through the body and they’re joined by stripes on the raglan sleeves. It’s not a massive departure from what we saw last season, but as much as there’s nothing extravagant here, there’s also nothing to upset fans; a fairly safe offering.
For the away shirt, there’s more of a departure from safety, with Kappa presenting a unique option for when the Ligue 1 side are away from the Raymond Kopa Stadium. The shirt sees a white base with black accents joined by a striking graphic that works through the sleeves. The sponsor is switched out to the alternate “Le Gaulois” option, while the design is finished off with the “La Force Du SCO” callout on the back of the neck, which alludes to the teams’ strength when players and fans unite.
