Completing the one-two set for Die Roten Bullen, Nike launch the RB Leipzig 20/21 away shirt, with a design that complements the home shirt.
RB Leipzig debuted their new 20/21 home shirt in their last home game of the 19/20 Bundesliga season against Borussia Dortmund, and now the away kit is unveiled in a pretty low-key affair that almost sailed under the radar. Odd given that RB Leipzig have reportedly become Nike’s 10th Elite team for this coming season; no big announcement, no fanfare, just the shirt being available on the same day that the home shirt became available for retail.
That being said, the shirt boasts a dark blue base with fluo yellow logos, including a monochrome Red Bull and RB Leipzig logos. They’re joined by orange highlights that feature on the collar and also through the side zig-zag – a feature that also appears on the home shirt, albeit in a toned down version that’s minus the accompanying graphic.
While blue, yellow and orange may not be the first choice of colour combination, here it is executed tastefully for Die Roten Bullen’s alternate strip.
