Inverting the club’s traditional colourings, PUMA have launched the Borussia Dortmund 20/21 away shirt, with a design that’s inspired by the city’s incredible street art and fan culture.
Dortmund are spoilt for choice when it comes to their kit selection for the 20/21 season. Along with the striking home shirt, they also have secondary home and away shirts for cup competitions, and now, joining those options is the club’s away shirt, which offers something completely different to that which has come before for the coming campaign.
The design of the new away shirt celebrates the iconic graffiti displayed throughout the streets of Dortmund. The black base features a striking yellow graffiti stripe running from shoulder to waist and integrates grey BVB graffiti graphics into the lower section of the jersey.
The 1&1 sponsor returns after being exchanged for the cup kits, but here it is a tad jarring in white. The home shirt executed it well in black, and it's a shame they couldn't have done something in yellow for this shirt. Sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb on an otherwise cracking shirt.
