PSG x Jordan Reveal 20/21 Third Shirt

For the third season in a row Nike once again make way for Jordan, with the reveal of the Paris Saint-Germain 20/21 third shirt alongside the next wider hype-fuelled capsule collection.

The recent reveal of the PSG x Air Jordan 4, Air Zoom Renegade and Zoom 92 all hinted at the colour scheme of the eagerly anticipated 2020/21 lineup, and sure enough it’s now been confirmed with the reveal of the PSG x Jordan 20/21 third shirt, which is also accompanied by a glimpse of the wider collection that’s sure to follow. The new design of the kit and collection refer to the color of the Air Jordan VII, debuted by Michael Jordan on the floors of the 1992 NBA All-Star Game. The VII was the brand’s first pair to feature the bordeaux color.

Last season the Jordan was promoted to PSG’s away kit, but this time they revert to where they originally appeared, taking the third shirt slot and running wild with it, with a design that continues to be rooted in sport, while reflecting the streets. Joining the 20/21 home and away shirts, the new third shirt boasts the bold defiance of the Jumpman, seamlessly aligned with the sophisticated flair of Parisian fashion, continuing to elevate sportswear couture and exposing both brands to new audiences.

The design sees Bordeaux colouring taking a dominant role through the central core, bordered by white on the shoulders and sleeves. Black trim and golden accents popping through the branding, sponsor and club crest lend the shirt a final flourish fitting of the hook up.
