A special kit for a special season for Atlanta United, as they unveil the ‘BLVCK KIT’ – their new Primary Jersey for the 2021 MLS season. The design features five prominent stripes on the front, representing the very pillars of the club’s character.
Celebrating five years in the MLS, Atlanta United present ‘THE BLVCK KIT’, a fresh take on the club’s home look, and one that is stacked with powerful meaning. Starting off with those five stripes on the centre of the jersey that dominate the design. More than a nickname, these stripes represent the pillars of the club’s character: Unity. Excellence. Community. Determination. Innovation. They are both the why and the how fueling our meteoric rise onto the world soccer scene.
The 5-Stripes crest remains over the heart, a constant reminder of club identity, and the direction in which all involved in the club are pulling. And even the black base from which the stripes emerge isn’t without meaning, representing the unity of every colour on the spectrum in a parallel of club culture. A jock tag celebrating the club’s 5th anniversary season, adorned with a crown in respect of the achievements thus far appears on the lower hem, signifying the milestone and growth of the club. And finishing it off, the words ‘Unite & Conquer’ appear on the back of the nexk. ‘Unite’ representing strength in diversity and the passion that emanates from our city, and ‘Conquer’ representing the club’s unwavering commitment to delivering inspiration and world-class soccer to fans of today and tomorrow.
