LA Galaxy have unveiled their secondary colours for the coming MLS campaign, with the reveal of their new ‘Community Kit’, so named as it celebrates the club’s history, the vibrant community of supporters and the spirit of the city of Los Angeles.

The clean white look of LA Galaxy is well known, but it’s with their secondary shirt that they get a little more play with their designs, as exemplified by the new ‘Community Kit’. The jersey design is born from the club’s culture and features a vertical stripe layout in black, tech green, and team collegiate gold that pays homage to the club’s history. As well as the modern look, the jersey also comes with a nod to the past, having been inspired – in part –  by the sights and sounds of the club’s Rose Bowl Stadium days.

The Community Kit will feature a new LA quasar mark on the back of neck. Both the 2021 primary and secondary kits will again display five stars on the jersey to represent the record five MLS Cups won in 2002, 2005, 2011, 2012 and 2014. Both kits will also feature the Herbalife Nutrition logo on the front of the jersey, and the logo of the LA Galaxy’s new jersey sleeve partner, Honey, on the right sleeve. The white jersey unveiled in 2020 will, of course, return alongside the ‘Community Jersey’ for the 2021 season.

"We are excited to unveil the LA Galaxy Community Kit that will serve as our secondary kit for the next two seasons," said LA Galaxy President Chris Klein. "We are the club of champions in the city of champions and this classic jersey design pays tribute to that. We are proud of our history and hope our fans love the progressive spin on this retro inspired kit."
