Taking inspiration from the iconic architecture of the New Crew Stadium, which is set to open in July, Columbus Crew unveil their new secondary jersey for the 2021 MLS season, known aptly as the ‘Inaugural Stadium Kit’.
With focus on the club’s new stadium as it edges towards completion, Columbus Crew have launched their new secondary jersey, which lands in contrast to the current black and gold primary jersey. New Crew Stadium’s modern and dynamic architecture reflects the thriving and evolving nature of Columbus that the Crew is proud to represent.
Known as the ‘Inaugural Stadium Kit’, it features a “ColumbUS” logo and a State of Ohio transfer with a star at the location of Columbus. The left sleeve of the shirt features a commemorative silver MLS Cup Champions sleeve patch, along with two stars above the Crew crest. Both this and the ‘New Heritage’ kit are set to feature Crew “Founding Partner” Nationwide on the front of the jersey.
