Fresh off of their DFB Pokal win last week, Borussia Dortmund turn their attention to next season, unveiling their new home kit for the 21/22 campaign from PUMA. BVB will debut the new Home kit in the last home game of the season against Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
It’s an interesting time for Borussia Dortmund. After what, by their standards, was a disappointing season, they managed to scrape into the Champions League places in the Bundesliga, before placing a cherry on that by lifting the DFB Pokal, defeating RB Leipzig in the final. But now we enter that stage of the year when rumour runs rife about which of their star players will be seeking pastures new. Despite the fact that we don’t know if the likes of Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland will actually wear it, Dortmund reveal their new home look for next season.
The new jersey features Dortmund’s traditional yellow, with thin black stripes placed on the sleeves adding a classic contrast to the yellow and features the latest in performance innovation. It combines 100% recycled polyester with advanced PUMA dryCELL thermoregulation technology to ensure uncompromising fit and mobility, keeping the athlete dry and comfortable. The jersey integrates an Ultra-light jacquard structure into the back of the jersey to enhance breathability during intense performance.
