Hot on the heels of the club’s new home shirt for the 21/22 season, New Balance have now unveiled the FC Porto away strip, with a design that takes inspiration from classic kits with a striking, retro-inspired graphic across the front.
Celebrating the rich legacy of the Dragons, New Balance launched the FC Porto 21/22 home shirt earlier this week, and that drop is now followed up by the reveal of the club’s new away shirt. The colour treads in the same steps as last season’s away shirt, with a Navy and Nautical Blue design, but the switch up comes with the inclusion of metallic Gold details that pop through the sponsor, branding and club crest, lending a regal finish to the look.
Alongside the gold details is the new graphic, that melds the two different shades of blue for a unique presentation. The bespoke jersey also incorporates a collar insert complete with the words ‘FC Porto’ on the reverse. New Balance has applied cutting edge design technology across all 21/22 jerseys to ensure superior performance. Developed using innovative NB Dry, to help keep players fresh and dry from the first to the final whistle.
FC Porto forward Mehdi Taremi said, “It’s great to see such a striking design. The shirt has a real feeling of heritage and I’m certain it will please the fans”.
