Returning to a tried and tested formula, Nike launch the Chelsea 21/22 away shirt, which sees the Blues back in yellow, with black pinstripes acting as another nod to the club’s past.
The Chelsea 21/22 home shirt is definitely one of the most divisive of the coming season. It’s a wild design that veers away from tradition for something fresh. But where that treads new ground, the new away shirt plays it safe and stylish, with a return to yellow and horizontal pinstripes. The pinstripe detail is a nod to kits of the past, but are refreshed by the alignment with black, representative of this new era of youthful energy taking over the club.
In another tweak to the usual presentation, the shirt will be paired with black shorts and yellow socks., The ‘Pride of London’ logo is also present on the inside of the shirt as a final sign off.
