Boca Juniors and Adidas Unveiled the club’s new away jersey for the 21/22 season, ahead of debuting the white design in the Argentine Primera Division match against Talleres Córdoba on the weekend, which ended 0-0.
Unlike in Europe, where teams unveil their new kits ahead of the upcoming campaign, in Argentina they’re on to match day four, and it was ahead of this fixture that Boca Juniors chose to unveil they’re new away shirt from adidas, ahead of a debut in the game against Talleres. The away shirt lines up alongside the current third shirt, which dropped back in April, while we’re still waiting for the club’s new home shirt, following the strong design of last season.
For the new away shirt Boca get a more simplistic look to last season's. Design details include a central club crest and adidas logo on a white base with a light grey pattern running across the front. Boca’s club colours feature on the collar and shoulder stripes, while special split coloured numbering on the back of the shirt honours the Boca Juniors side that won the 1978 Intercontinental Cup.
