adidas Launch Real Madrid 21/22 Away Shirt

Taking inspiration from the graffiti art of the city, Adidas launch the Real Madrid 21/22 away shirt. The new jersey expresses the city’s diversity with a unique tag design, created at the intersection of football and art, and it’s set be worn for the first time on pitch by the Real Madrid Women’s team today against Sparta Prague.

Inspired by the iconic Malasaña district, the abstract graffiti graphic that forms the base of the Real Madrid 21/22 away shirt has been custom-created by the adidas product creation team and engineered into the fabric of the jersey. The jersey reflects the creativity and spirit of the fans in the Malasaña area; embodying the character of Madrista creators and encapsulating the grandeza mindset.

The away shirt ties in with the new home shirt, taking the blue accents of that shirt and adopting them as the base colour. The “Victory Blue” base colour of the shirt – to give it its proper title – is complemented by bright pops of “Lucky Orange” and white to represent the vibrant culture of the capital city. The colours feature on the loop label of the neck – which also incorporates a special art-inspired Real Madrid logo – as well as the sponsor logos and three stripes.

The new away shirt will be worn for the first time on pitch by the Real Madrid Women’s team today against Sparta Prague and by the Men’s team on 8 August against Milan.
