Drawing inspiration from the club’s 1978/79 away kit, New Balance launch the AS Roma 21/22 away shirt, the first away shirt of the new partnership. It will be worn for the first time on Thursday, as José Mourinho’s side make their debut in the UEFA Europa Conference League against Turkish side Trabzonspor.
New Balance and Roma got off to a strong start when the club’s home shirt was met with mass approval upon its launch back in July. Now they follow up that release with the launch of the club’s new away shirt, which draws inspiration from the club’s 1978/79 away kit, a look which marked the beginning of one of the most successful chapters in the club’s history.
A clean white base is accentuated by the contrast ribboning on the cuffs and reverse collar in yellow, red, and orange – celebrating and highlighting the globally recognised colours of the Giallorossi.
