Bringing some shapes from the Israeli Premier League, Maccabi Tel Aviv and FILA have unveiled for the first time in the club's history a fourth shirt, which is set to be worn throughout the 2021/22 season and is set to debut in the upcoming league game against Hapoel B’Shlosha.
The Israeli Premier League is perhaps unfairly overlooked when it comes to new shirts. Similarly, Italian sportswear brand FILA have dropped off the radar as a major kit manufacturer over the last couple of decades, but both are now well and truly back in focus thanks to the wavy special edition Maccabi Tel Aviv 21/22 fourth shirt, which the club have just unveiled.
The design features a combination of amorphous shapes in navy-blue on top of a white background that combine to create a wavy graphic. The shirt then features yellow accents that pop through the polo neck collar, cuffs, side strips, sponsor and branding, with the club logo appearing exclusively on this kit in an inverted colour scheme to its usual look, highlighting the yellow.
