Nike Launch Winter Warrior Drill Tops

It's that time of year again. Nike have armoured up in their Winter Warrior wear to showcase their latest technologies to keep players warm as the colder months draw in. For 21/22 the key piece in the collection is the Therma-Fit Winter Warrior Strike Drill Top – a design that the Swoosh has dished out to their leading professional clubs.

The streamlined silhouette drops to offer players that vital layer of warmth for winter training while remaining lightweight and protective to the winter elements. The two generic colourways that have hit the market are in navy and black for a low key training feel, whether that's from the sidelines, on the training pitch or pre-match. You'll be seeing a lot more of these in the coming months as Nike have also given each of their elite clubs a bespoke set, which will also retail.

The Nike Therma fabric helps manage your body’s natural heat to keep you warm — and performance high when temperatures are low. Designed for cold days the quilted chest features synthetic fill for lightweight insulation, and ribbing at the elbow is designed to move with you for unrestricted agility. Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have also been supplied with their own club design to match their away and third kit colours for the 21/22 season.

You can expect each club's players to be wearing the collection in training and pre-match as the night's get that little bit colder and darker as we approach the new year. The slim fit designs provide a tailored feel and a longer hem in the back offer additional coverage and warmth. The Therma-Fit Winter Warrior Strike Drill Tops drops alongside Nike's full Winter Warrior collection for 21/22, including condos, gloves, track pants, baselayers and your usual lot of weather battling clothing.
