You know how it goes: new year, new training gear. Least that’s how it goes for Arsenal, with adidas kitting them out in some fresh threads to mark the second half of the 21/22 campaign.

Despite your feelings towards them on the pitch, Arsenal are definitely contenders for the best dressed team in the Premier League, thanks to the attention technical sponsors Adidas lavish upon them, often delving deep into the archive to bring out some retro-driven belters. But along with all that nostalgia Adidas always keep in mind the idea of being progressive, and so they provide the Gunners with a training range refresh for the second half of the season.

The Arsenal men's team took the new kit out for a spin this week, showing off almost the complete range, with hardy Scotsman Kieran Tierney opting for the short and tee combo, while others opted for full coverage. The clean look of the new Arsenal training range almost inverts that of the first collection, which used that “Mint Green” as its base, accented by white. So here we get a strong black base, with the “Mint Green” and white playing a supporting role, flashing through crest, branding and sponsor logos.

The collection is comprised of tees, training tops, jackets, shorts, pants and a hat, and is all made with sustainability in mind, using Primegreen, a virgin plastic-free high-performance material obtained from recycled polyester.
