Embracing the beating heart and soul of the club and the rallying chant of “Verde” that ties it all together, Austin FC have revealed the ‘Sentimiento’ secondary kit from adidas, which comes in an all-over mint green base.
For anyone in the know about Austin FC, the word ‘Verde’ will mean something; whether you’re a supporter of the club, have visited the Q2 stadium on game day, or simply heard the rallying call of the club through social media, it’s a chant that brings it all back to Austin. That’s why it – and specifically its meaning – has been brought into focus for the club’s new secondary jersey for the 2022 season.
In creating the Club’s new secondary kit for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, Austin FC players, supporters, and the larger Austin community have together to express what the Club’s “Verde” ethos means to them, culminating in “Verde Es Un Sentimiento” (Verde is a Sentiment) and the launch of the new ‘Sentimiento’ kit.
Replacing last year’s ‘Legends Kit’, the new secondary jersey features that green base with black accents in the collar, cuffs, sponsor, branding and club crest, adding definition to the look. Nice finishing touches include the “Verde es un Sentimiento” phrase stitched across the neckline, and Austin’s famous Moontower along the jock tag.
