Confirming that the brand and club will be working together again for the coming season, Napoli have unveiled their home and away shirts for 22/23 from EA7.
Last season, Napoli and EA7 partnered for what was thought to be a one season deal, but that’s been well and truly put to bed, because they’re together again for 22/23, as confirmed with the release of the club’s new home and away shirts. Following the renewed agreement with Aurelio De Laurentiis, owner and President of Calcio Napoli, the brand is confirmed as the technical sponsor of the Neapolitan team for the coming season.
There was a thought that one of the reasons that Napoli had so many kits last season was that EA7 were making the most of the one season they got with the Serie A side, but it appears that’s not the case, unless they negotiated a second season late on. Either way, it will be interesting to see how many kits the club get this season.
To start off though, we get a traditional home and away release. One of the complaints about last season was that it felt more a matter of quantity over quality, but it looks like moves have been made to put that right from the off, thanks to the inclusion of a sublimated Napoli crest that repeats across the body of both shirts. But that being said, it’s still the same template for both, with the blue base of the home being switched out for white on the away. Hoping for more variety to come, although we don’t need 12 shirts to achieve that, thanks Armani.
