Valencia Pay Homage To Mestalla With 22/23 Home Shirt

The new Valencia home shirt for 22/23 from PUMA arrives as pretty much a literal blank canvas, ensuring all focus is on that iconic retro club crest.

On May 20, 1923, the famous Mestalla stadium was opened and inaugurated with a friendly match between Valencia FC against Levante FC. Now, 100 years on, the Spanish outfit celebrate that fact by paying homage with their new home shirt from PUMA, which keeps things as clean and simple as you like to ensure that all focus is on the retro club crest, brought in in place of the regular club crest for this season.

The Valencia home shirt is the same one used for AC Milan’s home shirt, and it’s constructed from ULTRAWEAVE technology, PUMA’s lightest, highest-performance material ever developed. With a base that weighs just 72 grams and a reduced number of seams, the jersey is designed specifically to optimise performance by allowing players complete freedom of movement.
