Completing their set for the 22/23 season, German champions Bayern Munich have unveiled their third shirt from adidas. The design features a pattern of subtle diamond shapes that refer to the traditional and beloved Bavarian card game “Schafkopf”.
Having already unveiled their home and away shirts for the 22/23 season, Bayern Munich now get a contrasting third shirt from adidas, which arrives in a primary Dark Grey, partnered with bright red accents that appear on the Three Stripe braining on the shoulders, the sponsor and the club crest. The iconic “Mia san Mia” wording is featured on the back neck of the jersey, matching the style of the club’s home kit.
Aside from the colouring, the main visual highlight of the shirt’s design comes in the form of a pattern of subtle diamond shapes that have been incorporated into the front of the shirt. The pattern refers to the traditional and beloved Bavarian card game “Schafkopf” – 4 symbols of this card game are depicted within the diamonds including Clubs, Spades, Heart and Bells.
Bayern will debut the new third shirt in the match against VFL Wolfsburg on 14 August.
