Inspired by the City of Milan, PUMA launch the AC Milan 22/23 third shirt, which comes in olive-green, featuring a tonal graphic of the flag of Milan and a monochromatic version of the club crest.
Completing the set for the defending Serie A champions, PUMA have rolled out the AC Milan third shirt for 22/23, and it comes in a very different look to what’s come before. Lining up alongside the classic look of the home shirt and the throwback feeling away shirt, the new third option comes in olive-green, featuring a tonal graphic of the flag of Milan and a monochromatic version of the club crest.
The design is completed with black trim on the collar and cuffs and neon yellow accents in the sponsor to complement the inherent Milanese style. Made with 100 percent recycled material excluding trims and decorations, the shirt is constructed from ULTRAWEAVE technology, PUMA’s lightest, highest-performance material ever developed. With a base that weighs just 72 grams and a reduced number of seams, the jersey is designed specifically to optimise performance by allowing players complete freedom of movement.
Casper Stylsvig, Chief Revenue Officer of AC Milan, commented: “We are truly excited to release our Third kit today, which, thanks to the fantastic work of our partner PUMA, combines our heritage and our innovative spirit. By reinterpreting some of the city’s symbols in a modern style, we believe we have been able to create a unique product, which can be worn both on and off the football pitch.”
“Milan is an immensely proud city steeped in culture and style. We wanted to do something very different and unique with the new Third jersey by utilizing a new trend driven color to match the forward-thinking fashion of Milan,”commented Marco Mueller, PUMA Senior Head of Product Line Management Teamsport Apparel. “Another key aspect of the kit is the integration of the flag of Milan that has been placed in the center of the jersey as a tonal graphic to honor the passion and pride of the Milanese people.”
