Squeezing in a sneaky debut in their last game of the season, Crystal Palace have unveiled – and played in – their new home kit for 23/24 from Macron. The shirt sees a 50/50 split of the club’s traditional red and blue colourings.
Exactly 10 years to the day that Crystal Palace sealed their return to the Premier League, the club have unveiled their new home kit for the 23/24 season from Macron. The 2023/24 season will mark a club record of 11 consecutive seasons in the top-flight of English football (and 16th in total since the Premier League began in 1992), and the Eagles plan to play it in style. The shirt features a subtle background detail: a silhouette of the original Crystal Palace, where the club was founded in 1861 and played from 1862.
The players – Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze, Marc Guehi, Annabel Blanchard and Paige Bailey-Gayle – were shot on location at the iconic Leake Street, South London, a series of railway arches known for its street art, with new red and blue artwork adorning the arched walls stating: “South London and Proud, since 1861”. Following that, the kit was given its on-pitch debut in Palace’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest, which was their final home game of the 22/23 campaign.
