After eight months of the Manto Do Corinthians campaign, Nike and Corinthians have unveiled the club’s fan-designed fourth shirt for 2023, which was unveiled as a giant flag over the stands with the slogan "CREATED BY THE FIEL. CHOSEN BY THE PEOPLE" at the Neo Química Arena before kick-off against Fluminense.
Nike and Corinthians have unveiled the club's 2023 fourth jersey and winner of the #MantoDoCorinthians kit design campaign. The eight month campaign, which saw over 2,000 fan-designed jerseys submitted, allowed Corinthians fans to vote from eight final designs. The winning jersey – named the "Origens" jersey – was designed by Leonardo Fojo, who won the final round of voting with 56 percent of the votes. The jersey was unveiled as a giant flag over the stands with the slogan "CREATED BY THE FIEL. CHOSEN BY THE PEOPLE" at the Neo Química Arena before kick-off against Fluminense.
The design of the jersey pays tribute to the club's first uniform and the Campo do Lenheiro - Corinthians' first football field. The beige shirt features dust details representing the hardworking fans, with the Corinthians Paulista shield and Nike logo included in the centre. The inscription "É o equipe do povo" (It's the people's team) emphasises the club's working-class identity.
