Conveying identification, emotion and passion, RB Leipzig have unveiled their new away shirt for 23/24 from Nike, and it looks set to get its debut in this weekend’s Bundesliga match against Bayern Munich.
Ahead of their last Bundesliga away game of the season, RB Leipzig have unveiled their new away shirt for the 23/24 season, which boasts a design full of optimism and positivity. That’s apparent from the outset from the dynamic RBL arrow pattern that dominates the visuals of the shirt, divided into quadrants for a look that’s more reminiscent of a can of Red Bull than you may first think…
The colour scheme of the new away shirt is based on RBL’s club colours: red and blue. The idea behind the rising arrow is that it’s part of the club’s identity; it connects their past with their future and stands for drive and motivation, pointing in the direction of the club’s goal: upwards. (Who wants to tell them that some of the arrows aren’t pointing up?)
The club’s positive motto, “You can do Anything”, stands out on the back of the shirt on the neck above the RBL Leipzig lettering. On the inside of the shirt, the identity is shown again with the “We are Leipzig” silhouette.
It’ll be a bold move to debut the shirt away at the Allianz Arena… ideally you’d want a nice winnable match to get good omens for the coming campaign… Bayern away ain’t that.
