Few teams in the world can claim a decade of dominance over their domestic league, but RB Salzburg have joined that list after they sealed their 10th league title in a row. To celebrate that feat, Nike has produced a special, limited edition jersey, which the Austrian Bundesliga champions will wear in their final home game of the season.
Call it boring or call it brilliant, but RB Salzburg have done what few teams in the world have done by sealing a tenth straight domestic title in the Austrian Bundesliga. It’s a hell of an achievement, and to celebrate, they’ll play their final home match of the season – against Austria Klagenfurt – in a specially produced, limited edition Black and Gold kit from Nike. Ten league titles in ten years – deserves some respect… and a special shirt.
The new jersey features a black base, ensuring all attention is drawn to the golden details of the club crest, Nike Swoosh, Red Bull sponsor logo and, most importantly, the champions emblem, all of which have been inspired by the title-winning plate. It also appears that this will be the first time that the Austrian side will get the Vaporknit template, with the ribbed texture of the technology offering a deeper texture to the overall design.
The shirt will arrive packed with two Red Bull champions' cans in a specially made box for the occasion. No word on how many unites are available, but it is a limited edition release, so if you’re keen, best get ordering!
