Ready for the upcoming Women’s World Cup Down Under, PUMA have unveiled the Switzerland 2023 home jersey, which features a design inspired by the Swiss mountains.
Switzerland’s World Cup preparations move on to the next stage with the reveal of their new home shirt from PUMA. It arrives in traditional red, with a tonal graphic running through the body to represent the Swiss Alps. That is the overlaid by a white pinstripe design, with white also featuring on the collar and cuffs. The shirt is once again made from PUMA ULTRAWEAVE, an ultra-lightweight material engineered for even more efficient performance.
But the real story of the shirt comes from the fan version, which is the world's first RE:FIBRE fan shirt. With a material composition of at least 95% recycled polyester textiles and production waste, PUMA is setting another milestone towards a sustainable future with the Swiss fan jersey. The jersey was developed on the basis of the innovative RE:FIBRE program, in which textile waste is recycled responsibly and used materials are reused.
In addition to the first-class quality of the shirts, this advanced production process also contributes significantly to the reduction of waste and the long-term conservation of valuable resources. In Switzerland, old polyester textiles can be returned directly to the PUMA shop in Jelmoli in Zurich and thus donated for future collections.
