Arriving in what can only be described as a striking design, Manchester City have unveiled their 23/24 third shirt from PUMA, which is dominated by a bold sky blue graphic of bolts of electricity that flash throughout.
Having already released their new home shirt, which obviously has to conform to certain traditions and expectations, treble winners Manchester City now get to show off their new third shirt for the 23/24 season. The design team at PUMA have clearly relished the chance to be a little more adventurous here, and this is evident the moment you see the shirt, with its deep navy base and flashes of sky blue bolts of electricity, which are spread across its entirety.
Those electric bolts are the perfect nod to the traditional colours of the team, while they’re also suggestive of the sheer force of this team – something that was evident last season when they scooped an incredibly impressive treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.
The dark base and flashes of sky blue are joined by the branding, sponsor and club crest in a perfectly contrasting shade of red, while further sky blue accents on the collar and cuffs complete the design. The third kit will debut on pitch on Wednesday 26 July at the Japan National Stadium against Bayern Munich.
