Bit of kit news from League Two, and Salford City have dropped a clean contrasting away and third shirt set, with the design of the former being inverted for the latter in a nice monochrome switch up.
Under the watchful eye of the Class of ’92, Salford City got their 23/24 League Two campaign underway with a 2-0 away win against Forest Green Rovers, and they did so in their new white third shirt, manufactured by adidas and distributed by Pro:Direct Clubhouse. That third shirt lines up alongside the away shirt, with both being released at the same time, contrasting nicely with one another and also the previously released red home shirt.
The away and third shirts follow on from the special limited edition 'Salford Lads Club' shirt, which was released and used in preseason.
The two designs, which will be used away from The Peninsula Stadium, are inversions of one another, with the away shirt featuring a black base with white trim and the third shirt being white with black trim. Both see crew collars joined by a sublimated chevron design that works through the body, lending the design an added depth and texture.
