Following on from the previously released teaser video, the first official image of the special edition Barcelona shirt from the upcoming Nike x Patta 'Culers del Món' collection has now been revealed.
Over the weekend Barcelona and Dutch brand Patta teased an upcoming collaboration through a short video that travelled through the inside of a human body before arriving at the beating heart, along with the caption “Our blood, our colors, our identity. Our shared history. Culers Del Món, stay tuned”. No further information was released, but now we have our first official look at a special edition shirt that has come from the partnership, likely to be released as part of the club’s 125th anniversary celebrations.
The Dutch School's influence continues to shape modern football, with Dutch trainers playing significant roles in FC Barcelona’s rich past, and the design of this shirt takes the connection between Amsterdam and Barcelona quite literally, using the Blaugrana colour scheme to show the blood and DNA pumping through the club, emanating from the heart – "'Barca-blood,' a metaphorical elixir, that runs through the veins of fans worldwide, uniting all in a symphony of Blue and Red".
The FC Barcelona x Patta Culers del Món collection will be available online on Friday, October 13th at 13:00 CEST and in Patta chapter stores in Amsterdam, London and Milan. The Patta Script Logo Pre-Match Jersey will be available exclusively through Patta on Friday, October 13th, with the Spotify Logo Pre-Match Jersey following on Monday, October 16th.
No word on when and where Barcelona will wear the Patta jersey, but watch this space...
