Just in time for Christmas, Umbro Brasil have provided Fluminense with a beautifully bespoke new jersey, created under the Every Team Has One campaign. It showcases the main chants of the fans on a creatively designed and innovative shirt, developed in collaboration with artist Killa Villa.
Following on from the Atletico Tucuman launch last month, Umbro have just released the second jersey of their #EveryTeamHasOne campaign, and this time it’s with Brazilian club Fluminense FC. The jersey has once again been designed in collaboration with international creative design studio, Killa Villa, and it features lyrics to club anthem ‘Eterno campeão’ fused with a graphic pattern inspired by the famous Copacabana beach tiles in Rio.
The jersey is part of a global campaign that invited Tricolor fans to share with the brand the most sung songs by the Fluzão supporters, echoing through the Maracanã stands on match days. The result is an all-maroon jersey, the classic colour of Tricolor das Laranjeiras, with green details on the collar and sleeves. Throughout the jersey, graphics in different shades stylise the chants, as if representing the Tricolor blood flowing through the veins of the passionate fans.
"This is another very special collection that demonstrates our connection with the stands and all the fan bases, as great partners in the creation of uniforms and the history of the clubs. We know that fans are the great asset of the clubs, and honoring Fluminense's greatest driving force in the world is another responsibility we take on with this nation," explained Eduardo Dal Pogetto, National Brand Director of Umbro Brazil.
