Ready for the kick off of this year’s Africa Cup of Nations, Kappa have revealed the home and away kits for Tunisia, which both feature stylised tonal renderings of the famous Amphitheatre of El Jem.
Kappa have been ripping it up on the kit front this season (and the last few, in fairness), and now they take it to the international stage with Tunisia, kitting out the African nation in a bespoke design that carries across both kits. Ready for this year's AFCON, both feature a sublimated graphic on the front of the Amphitheatre of El Jem, a hugely important monument for the country. The El Jem amphitheater dates back to the 3rd century and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.
Complementing the design is the presence of the iridescent crest and branding, which both shimmer under the light. It’s ultimately a design that benefits from its simplicity in both home and away, ensuring attention is on the graphic and therefore the story at its heart. The home shirt is all red, while the away shirt is white with a red collar execution; a simple switch up that lends the look a certain elegance, emphasised by the red accents in the crest, which are more noticeable on that white base.
Tunisia's AFCON campaign gets underway on 16 January against Namibia.
