Celebrating 110 years of existence, PUMA have revealed the new home and away shirts for Palmeiras for the 2024 campaign, and it’s set for its debut in the derby against Santos on 28 January.
It’s been quite the few years for Brazilian side Palmeiras. As well as revealing the new home and away kits for 2024, the campaign by PUMA and Palmeiras also highlights the trophies won during the partnership between the pair – the most successful period in the club's history. Since 2019, there have been 11 major achievements with the first team (Campeonato Brasileiro 2023, Supercopa do Brasil 2023, Campeonato Paulista 2023, Campeonato Brasileiro 2022, Recopa Sul-Americana 2022, Campeonato Paulista 2022, CONMEBOL Libertadores 2021, Copa do Brasil 2020, CONMEBOL Libertadores 2020, Campeonato Paulista 2020 and Florida Cup 2020).
The new shirts for the 2024 season combine traditionalism, sophistication and elegance – characteristics that establish Palmeiras as one of the most successful teams in the world.
For the first time the home and away shirts share the same print, with both featuring three historic Palmeiras emblems, embossed into the very fabric of the shirt, in reference to the 110 years that will be completed in 2024. The crests featured are the Palestra Italia shield (created in 1914), the Cruz de Savoia (1916), symbol of the Italian Royal House, and the P (1942), which was the first shield to reflect the change of the team's name to Palmeiras. The current badge, used since 1959, is still printed on the chest.
The home shirt arrives in classic Palmeiras green, with a white collar and sleeve finishing, while the away shirt inverts that colour scheme. Gold then appears on branding and sponsor, adding a regal flourish worthy of the side’s recent successes, while “S.E.P. 110 Anos” appears just below the club crest as a perfect sign off.
