Ahead of their match against the Clippers, Atlanta Hawks players Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela rocked up to proceedings wearing the Atlanta United 2024 secondary jersey, giving us a sneak peak at the as-yet unreleased design.
We’re right on the cusp of the 2024 MLS season kick off, and so we’re expecting new jersey designs from adidas to be dropping left, right and centre any time. Ahead of any official launch though, the NBA has been the place for our first look at Atlanta United’s new secondary jersey for the coming campaign, with Atlanta Hawks players Bogdan Bogdanovic and Clint Capela wearing them on arrival at the State Farm Arena.
The pale blue shirt features a tonal eagle graphic that dominates the design. Darker blue accents then feature on the Three Stripe branding on the shoulders, as well as on the sponsor, crest and on the collar and cuffs, which are further accented by hits of yellow. It's a bold look, and as one of the first to be 'revealed' we hope its a sign of things to come.
When asked about the choice of threads, Bogdanovic replied: “Me and Clint love soccer so we just wanted to show love to our soccer team.” Can't argue with that. The cynical amongst you may ask where they got the jersey from...
