Inter and Nike have launched a special jersey dedicated to the Air Max DN, and Inter are set to don the special jersey during Empoli’s visit to San Siro on 1 April.
While not quite up to the bespoke levels of the UCL Air Max-inspired shirts from the 2020/21 season, Inter once again use their shirt as a canvas, this time to pay homage to one of Nike’s latest sneaker revelations, the Air Max Dn. The jersey is revealed on Air Max Day, and it calls out the Nike Air Max Dn, which marks a new generation in the footwear cushioning revolution started by Nike over three decades ago.
The Air Max DN logo appears just a few centimetres below the collar in the middle of the jersey, symbolising the new Nike Air unit: the Dynamic Air. The launch of the Air Max Dn introduces Air technology that's never been seen or felt before. Nike describe ‘Dynamic Air’ as being “a next generation of innovation designed to create a more dynamic heel-to-toe transition” and it’s now featured in a shoe for the first time. Air Max Dn marks a new generation of bold and sleek footwear cushioning that Nike began more than three decades ago, arriving with a reimagined platform and setting the stage for future innovation.
A version of the Air Max DN x Inter strip will be available from 27 March in limited edition and numbered pieces bearing the names of Lautaro, Barella, and Thuram on store.inter.it and at the Inter Store Castello.
