Drawing inspiration from a number of influential sources, LC23 and Kappa are once again working in tandem to the benefit of SSC Bari, with the release of a new collaborative collection.
LC23, Kappa and Bari are on to the third year of their collaboration, following their debut season in 2022 and the “Il trenino” inspired options from last year. This year, inspiration for the collection – which is comprised of two kits (home and away), two long sleeves collectible jerseys, a pre-match t-shirt and a track jacket, all in a limited edition – takes inspiration from two distinct sources.
The first inspiration comes from the sea of Bari and the different shades it takes on during the hot summer days: from the multiple variations of blue to the silver colour of the reflections of the sun on the sunset water. Another inspiration comes from the colours of the Kappa uniforms for the USA athletics team at the LA84 Olympics, evident through the uses of silver, red, optical white and blue throughout.
The blue kit features tonal vertical stripes, with a classic white fold-over collar and cuff combo with red detailing. The silver kit also features tonal stripes, with navy, white and red details throughout, most notably on the side panels where the Kappa Omini logo takes up the iconic Banda formation. The kits are joined by a red and white hooped prematch jersey and a shimmering silver jacket, which features the Kappa Banda on each sleeve, along with the word “Bari” emblazoned on the back.
The kits will be worn by SSC Bari during the Bari-Pisa matches on 20 April and Bari-Parma matches on 1 May.
The LC23 x Kappa SSC Bari collection will be available in limited quantities from 20 April at lc23.it, sscalciobari.it and kappa.com.
