With emphasis on the sleeves, Nike have unveiled the new Tottenham Hotspur home shirt for the 24/25 season, which brings the navy accents common in Spurs kits into far more prominence.
Tottenham Hotspur’s traditional home colours are white and navy, and in recent years the navy has receded to a mere cameo, appearing in a supporting role to clean white bases. For the 24/25 season though, Nike have given it a much bigger role, with it dominating the sleeves and shoulders, while it also features down the side panels and on the collar. It’s a throwback look, the likes of which haven’t been seen since around the 05/06 season.
The block colouring of the navy on the sleeves is broken up by a smart stripe addition on the cuffs, while the “AIA” sponsor remains in red as an effective contrast. The Kit will be worn for the first time during the Club’s pre-season fixture against Hearts on Wednesday 17 July.
The campaign for the launch features Gavin and Stacey star – and lifelong Spurs fan – Mathew Horne, who said “As a life-long Spurs fan, this is a dream campaign to be a part of – the new kit looks awesome. The cockerel has always been a massive symbol of pride for me, so it’s great to have that front and centre. The cockerel is at the core of our identity as a Club, so it’s fun to celebrate that. It’s what makes us Spurs.”
