Having reunited last year after 42 years apart, Le Coq Sportif and OGC Nice celebrate the club’s 120th anniversary with the club’s new home shirt for the 24/25 season.
Founded on 9 July, 1904, OGC Nice has gone on to become an essential club in French football. Their first years of glory came in the 1950s, and they’ve continued to write their history through the seasons. Now, 120 years on from their beginnings and with an eye on the future, the club celebrate their anniversary with the help of technical sponsors, Le Coq Sportif, who have produced the new home shirt for the 24/25 season.
The club’s traditional black and red stripes are embellished by the presence of gold accents throughout the design: on the cuffs, club crest, branding and sponsor, while on the back of the collar, the words "Issa Nissa" also appear in gold.
The final touch sees a signature label embroidered on the hem, featuring the name of the club anchored between the year of the club’s beginning, 1904, and the date of this anniversary, 2024. It’s then topped off with a golden crown, because why not.
