With the home and away shirts already released, Ajax complete their 24/25 wardrobe with the reveal of their new third shirt from adidas. The base of the kit is light grey, with bordeaux and black as accent colours. The shirt features a striking graphic print, with grey lines forming a continuous series of Saint Andrew’s Crosses on the base and neckline, as seen on the home and away shirts.
The grey base plays host to those bordeaux accents, drawing focus to them as the main design element. They draw subtle inspiration from the ‘Amsterdammertje’, the iconic red posts that are so characteristic of the city of Amsterdam, and that colour is a running theme that’s spread throughout a wider Ajax x adidas Originals collection. That retro-infused collection consists of a tracksuit jacket and pants, hoodie, and t-shirt. In line with the retro look, these products feature the classic Ajax logo.
